INSTRUCTIONS TO STUDY
1- watch the video. 2- watch it again repeating after the teacher. 3- read the transcript (optional), see if you understand. 4- watch the video again once or more times until you learn the lesson well. 5- now try to use some objects to reproduce the dialogue (more or less) so you can practise what you just learnt.

What’s that over there? That’s a red apple.
What's this?= ¿Qué es esto?
What's this here?= ¿Qué es esto de aquí?
This is an apple= Esto es una manzana.
What's that?= ¿Qué es eso?
What's that over there?= ¿Qué es eso de ahí?
That's a red apple= Es una manzana roja.
What are these?= ¿Qué son estas cosas?
These are apples= Estas son manzanas.
What are those?= ¿Qué son esas?
Those are apples?= Esas son manzanas.
En esta lección vemos el plural de los demostrativos ESTO y ESO. Usamos THIS (esto, este, esta) para lo que está cerca y THAT (eso, ese, esa) para lo que está lejos. El plural de THIS es THESE y el plural de THAT es THOSE (fíjate bien en las pronunciaciones).
También vemos la diferencia entre HERE (aquí), THERE (ahí, allí) y OVER THERE (allá, allí, por allá).
Fíjate que el artículo indeterminado A/AN (=un, una) es singular. En plural normalmente no se pone nada:
This is an apple= Esta es una manzana.
This is a red apple= Esta es una manzana roja.
These are apples= Estas son manzanas.
These are red apples= Estas son manzanas rojas. (recuerda que el adjetivo no tiene plural, por eso RED no cambia).
Recuerda que usamos A delante de consonantes ( A RED APPLE) y AN delante de vocales (AN APPLE).
