INSTRUCTIONS TO STUDY
1- watch the video. 2- watch it again repeating after the teacher. 3- read the transcript (optional), see if you understand. 4- watch the video again once or more times until you learn the lesson well. 5- now try to use some objects to reproduce the dialogue (more or less) so you can practise what you just learnt.

- A little more... Ok, there you go!
Move the apple closer to the box = Mueve la manzana más cerca de la caja.
A little bit closer = Un poco más cerca.
A little more = Un poco más.
There you go! = ¡eso es!
Si CLOSE TO significa "cerca de", CLOSER TO significará "más cerca de" (tenemos la terminación -ER del comparativo).
Podemos matizar el comparativo con la expresión A LITTLE (un poco) o A LITTLE BIT (un poquito), así que A LITTLE BIT CLOSER significa "un poquito más cerca". Si en lugar de decir "más cerca" (closer) o "más grande" (bigger) o lo que sea decimos simplemente "más", entonces usamos la palabra MORE: "a little more" = "un poco más".
La expresión THERE YOU GO la usamos para indicar que la otra persona lo ha hecho correctamente. Al mismo tiempo suena como una especie de felicitación por haberlo hecho bien.
