Ok, I am going to ask you some questions.
I'm gonna ask you some questions.
You answer my questions.
You give me an answer, Ok?
Here is the question:

- What is this? What is this? What's this in my hand?
- Oh, Tom, that's a, that's an onion. That's an onion in your hand.

- What... Here's another question. What colour, what colour is this onion?
- mmm, red, that's a red onion in your hand. That's a red onion.

- Ok. What's that? What's that? What's that on the table?
- Tom, that's an onion. That's an onion too
- What colour is that onion?
- That's a white onion. That's a white onion on the table.

- Ok. What's this? What's this? What's this here?
- Tom, that's an onion. That's an onion too?
- Ok, what kind of onion?. What type of onion? What kind of onion is that? What type of onion is that?
- That's a... That is a scallion. That's a kind of onion called "a scallion". That's a type of onion called a scallion.
- Ok. What colour is that scallion?
- Well, umm, it's two colours. Part of it is white and part of it is green.

- Ok, here is a hard question, a difficult question:
What size, what size is this glass?
- ummm, Tom, I don't know, I don't know what size it is. I don't know how big it is. I can't tell, I can't tell what size it is. Compared to what, Tom? Compared to what?
Oh, now I know. Now I see. That's easy. This is a small glass compared to this glass. This glass is a small glass and this glass is a big glass.
The one on the right, the glass on the right is smaller than the the glass on the left.

- How big is this apple? How big is this apple?
- ummm, Tom, compared to what? I don't know how big that apple is.
- Compared to this apple.
- Ok, the one on the right is bigger than the one on the left. The apple on the left is smaller than the apple on the right.

- Ok, what size are these apples?
- They are the same size, Tom. Those are the same size apples. They're both green apples, they're both the same size. If you compare the one on the right to the one on the left, they're the same, they're the same size.

I am going to ask you some questions = voy a hacerte algunas preguntas
- I'm going to tell you something = voy a decirte algo
- You're going to sing a song = vas a cantar una canción
I am going to ask you some questions = I'm gonna ask you some questions.

You answer my questions = tú respondes mis preguntas
You give me an answer = tú me das una respuesta

IN = dentro de
ON = encima de, sobre una superficie
Por eso dice "in my hand" pero "on the table".

Kind = type = clase, tipo
What kind of onion? = What type of onion = ¿Qué clase de cebolla?

It's two colours, part of it is white and part of it is green = es de dos colores, parte (de ello) es blanco y parte es verde.

Here's a hard question = aquí va una pregunta difícil
hard = difficult

If you compare the one on the right to the one on the left...

- Levanta el grande = Pick up the big one.
