INSTRUCTIONS TO STUDY
1- watch the video. 2- watch it again repeating after the teacher. 3- read the transcript (optional), see if you understand. 4- watch the video again once or more times until you learn the lesson well. 5- now try to use some objects to reproduce the dialogue (more or less) so you can practise what you just learnt.

la lección bien. 5- ahora intenta usar algunos objetos para reproducir por tu cuenta el diálogo (más o menos) y así practicar lo aprendido.

- Now, would you pick it up two times?
- Now, would you pick it up three times?
- Tom, pick up the apple once.
- Pick up the apple twice.
- Ok, now pick it up three times again.
- Ok, is that enough? How many times do you want me to pick up the apple?
- Just pick it up one more time.
- Ok. Have we finished?
- No, Tom, can you pick it up a hundred times?
- No, that's crazy. We don't have time for that.
- Tom, ¿te importaría coger/levantar la manzana una vez?
- Ahora, ¿te importaría cogerla dos veces?
- Ahora, ¿te importaría cogerla tres veces?
- Tom, coge la manzana una vez.
- Coge la manzana dos veces.
- Vale, ahora cógela tres veces de nuevo.
- Vale, ¿es suficiente? ¿Cuántas veces quieres que coja la manzana?
- Cógela sólo una vez más.
- Vale, ¿hemos acabado?
- No, Tom, ¿puedes cogerla 100 veces?
- No, eso es una locura. No tenemos tiempo para eso.
Como ves, la manera más habitual de decir "una vez" es "once", para "dos veces" casi siempre se dice "twice", y el resto ya no cambia: "3 veces" es "three times", "4 veces" es "four times" y así sucesivamente.
