Para preguntar por el tiempo hay tres preguntas:
- What's the weather like? = ¿Cómo es el tiempo?
- What's the weather? = ¿Qué tiempo hace?
- How's the weather? = ¿Cómo está el tiempo?
Respuestas:
It's sunny = está soleado (= hace sol)
It's rainy = está lluvioso (= llueve)
It's foggy = está con niebla (= hace niebla)
It's windy = está ventoso (= hace mucho viento)
It's raining = está lloviendo
It's snowing = está nevando
Normalmente usamos el adjetivo:
sun - sunny = sol, soleado
rain - rainy = lluvia, lluvioso
snow - snowy = nieve, nevado
fog - foggy = niebla, con niebla
frost - frosty = escarcha, con escarcha
wind - windy = viento, ventoso
storm - stormy = tormenta, tormentoso
temperaturas:
hot = caliente
warm = calentito (templado)
cool = fresco
cold = frío
