INSTRUCTIONS TO STUDY
1- watch the video. 2- watch it again repeating after the teacher. 3- read the transcript (optional), see if you understand. 4- watch the video again once or more times until you learn the lesson well. 5- now try to use some objects to reproduce the dialogue (more or less) so you can practise what you just learnt.

This is called a refrigerator or a "fridge".
The top part of the refrigerator is the "freezer". It freezes food.
The bottom part is for keeping food cold. It doesn't freeze it but it keeps it cold.
The top part freezes food, it freezes water. Frozen water is called "ice".
Esto se llama frigorífico/refrigerador o frigo/nevera.
La parte de arriba del frigorífico es el "congelador". Congela comida.
La parte de abajo es para mantener la comida fría. No la congela, sino que la mantiene fría.
La parte superior congela comida, congela agua. El agua congelada se llama "hielo".
