Description

Watch this video (the second part repeats everything with subtitles).

On the video they use the question:

What else can you do? = What more can you do? Can you do other things?

- I can speak English = puedo hablar inglés
- She can swim = ella puede nadar
- I can't speak German = no puedo hablar alemán
- Can you speak Spanish?

- No sé hablar alemán = I can't speak German
- No sé alemán = I don't know German

- He can dance very well = él sabe bailar muy bien / él puede bailar muy bien

What else can you do? = ¿Qué más sabes hacer?

Explanations

CAN (to express ability)

We use the verb CAN to express ability
- I can speak English

It is a special verb, so we never use the auxiliary verb DO
- I can't speak English
- What can you do? Can you speak English? - Yes, I can

The negative is CAN'T /kɑ:nt/ or CANNOT /kænət/ (but we can't write it separate CAN NOT)

You can dedicate this video to a person and write a message for them here. Your dedication will be visible for one month.
