CREATE YOUR OWN VIDEO PAGES

As a registered user now you can create your own video pages, just like the ones you can find at the VIDEOS or MUSIC sections!

To do that simply click on the blue UPLOAD button on top of the side menu and you'll come to the form you need to create your video page. The videos you create will be visible in the OPEN SECTION of the website, so now we have two big parts on the web, the "official section" with the videos I create, and the Open Section with the videos you guys create.

You can edit or eliminate your videos from your user's page. You can also share your section with other people (on Facebook, by mail, etc). Your "personal website" with all the videos you submitted will also be accessible at this url:

To create a video page is very simple. When you open the uploading form you will see that next to each box there is an info icon: If you move your mouse over it you can read help to fill in that box. But if it is the firs time you create a video page you should read the INSTRUCTIONS link that appears on top of the page. There you can find detailed instructions to help you create your video pages. Just follow the instructions step by step and then submit your video to me.

I will review your video to make sure it is acceptable material and when I activate it your video will become published and appear in the Open Section for everyone to see.

The Open Section is a section for users, so your English doesn't need to be perfect, just do your best. Other users can write comments for your video page and they can help you correct mistakes or complete information. You can use those comments to improve your video page and make it better. When you want to modify your page, go to your account, enter the "My Videos" section, and click on the "Modify" icon of the video you want to change. There you can change things any time you want (except for the video itself). And you can also eliminate your video page if you want to. The page is yours, although it is nice that other people can help you improve it.

So come on! be brave and start creating your own video pages. Now you can also be a webmaster in Multimedia-English!

TERMS & CONDITIONS

As a rule, we will accept all video pages submitted by users but we may reject your video page in some special cases including, but not restricted to these:

Automatic rejection:
- If the video (and your text) is not suitable for all viewers (because it contains violence, sex, bad language, racism, etc.)
- If the submitted page has no video.
- If the video is not in English
- If you use it (now or in the future) to insert any kind of advertising or write about things not connected to the video content. (advertising inserted on the video by YouTube is ok, since we can't do anything about it).
Probable rejection:
- If you don’t follow the rules about format explained above referring to the embed code for the video or any other specification already mentioned.
- If the video page is completely boring or stupid and has no linguistic or entertaining interest at all.
- If the video page has no image to identify it in the lists (field IMAGE is empty).
- If you inserted a video from a site different from YouTube and the code is not adapted properly (see instructions at this link). Chances that we will adapt the code for you are small.
- Videos with no transcription must be interesting enough to be approved.

Once the video is accepted and published, your name (nick) will appear after the title. You can edit or delete your videos from your user account. If in the future you unsubscribe and eliminate your account, your video pages will still be visible in the open section but for technical reasons your name will not appear anymore.

Other users may choose to help you by posting comments to make corrections, explanations, etc. In that case you should use those comments to modify your texts and so improve the page. The webmaster (that is, myself) may also edit your page to improve it, and he may copy your page to the official VIDEO or MUSIC section if he finds it particularly interesting.

PROMOTION

Once your video page is activated, use the "facebook" button from the page to automatically post it to your Facebook account and let your friends know about it. You can also twitter it or mail it to your contacts. Let others enjoy your creation!
