- I swear = lo juro (lit: yo juro)
He can talk = puede hablar
- Hey, I can fly = pero bueno, ¡puedo volar!
- He can fly = puede volar
- Ha, ha. That's right, fool = ja, ja. Exacto, tonto
("that's right" literalmente significa "eso es correcto")
- Now I'm a flying talking donkey = ahora soy un burro volante (flying) y parlante (talking)
Los verbos normales añaden -S a la tercera persona del singular (he, she, it), pero los verbos especiales (como por ejemplo CAN) no:
- I can, he can
aunque los verbos especiales "to be" y "have" tienen formas irregulares terminadas en -S:
- I am, he is / I have, he has (pero no se dice "bes" ni "haves")
