Learn some common irregular verbs (read the explanations).
Aprende los verbos irregulares con los vídeos de esta lección.
En inglés, un verbo sólo puede tener 3 formas diferentes, así que si un verbo es completamente irregular, sólo tienes que aprender esas 3 formas (pinesa en las decenas de formas diferentes que puede tener un verbo regular español). Por ejemplo, el verbo dar:
GIVE - GAVE - GIVEN (= dar, dió, dado)
GIVE 
esta es la llamada "forma base" del verbo. Se usa para el presente, el imperativo y el infinitivo.
GAVE el pasado.
GIVEN el participio pasado. Esta forma la necesitas para formar la voz pasiva y el tiempo "present perfect". Aún no lo hemos visto pero lo verás en otra lección más adelante, así que apréndetelo ahora para cuando lo necesites.
En el vídeo de esta lección tienes los verbos irregulares más comunes. Es importante saberlos bien porque se usan muchísimo. También es muy importante que los pronuncies correctamente, de lo contrario nadie te entenderá.
No se pueden memorizar todas estas formas de una sentada, y si te las aprendes muy rápido las olvidarás también muy rápido. Es mejor mirar los vídeos, hacerse una lista con los verbos que salen, y estudiarte la lista con el vídeo un poco cada día, hasta que se te vayan quedando. Todos los días un poco. Pero asegúrate de que al final te los has aprendido todos.

GIVE - GAVE - GIVEN
GIVE infinitive, present, imperative.
- I want to give you something.
- She gives money to the poor every Sunday.
- Please, give me some water.
GAVE past.
- Tim came yesterday and he gave me this book for you.
GIVEN past participle. (you will see this in another lesson in the future)
- Mum has given me money to buy some bread.
You need to know all the common irregular verbs because they are very frequent in English. But it is not possible to learn all these irregular verbs in one day. You must listen to them a few times every day, and you will slowly learn them. If you learn them very quickly, you will forget them very quickly too!
It is also very important to pronounce these forms correctly, so watch the video, make a list and study it often until you know them from memory.
