HIT ON= Pick up. If you hit on girls, or pick up girls (or boys) you try to meet them in a casual situation (for example in a club or at the beach) because you want to spend time with them and probably have a sexual or romantic relation with them, or simply have fun.

TRASH= Rubbish, garbage.

WANNA= (coll.) Want to.

DATE= To date someone is to be their boyfriend/girlfriend. Your date is your boyfriend/girlfriend.
- Yea, I have a new girlfriend, I'm dating Susan now. She's the best date I've ever had.

GUYS= (coll.) Men, boys.

I'LL GIVE IT MY BEST TRY= I'll try very hard, I'll try to do it the best I can.

HACK= (slang) To tolerate, to put up with it, to cope with it, to manage the situation.

CAUSE= (coll.) Because.

AIN'T= (coll.) The negative form of the verb "to be" or "have" in the present:
- You ain't a good boy = You're not a good boy
- I ain't no time for all that bullshit = I have no time for stupid things.

YOU AIN'T SITTIN' UP FRONT= You're not going to sit at the front seat of my car.

HOMIES= My best friends (short for "home boys", close friends)

TRUNK= (BrE boot) The part of the car where you keep the luggage.

THE BILL= The note saying the money you have to pay for what you had.

WALLET= Where men keep their money when inside their pocket (see picture)

IMA= (coll. also spelled: I'ma, Imma)= I'm going to.

BEAT= If you beat someone in a game or competition, you win and they lose.

I TAKE THAT BACK= I changed my mind, forget about what I just said.

HOUSE IS ON TONIGHT= Tonight, the series "House" is on TV.

HELL YEAH= (a bit rude) an emphatic form of "yes". (also "hell no")

LEMME= (coll.) Let me.

COWS GO MOO= The sound that cows make is "moo" (and cats go meow and dogs go woof-woof and ducks go quack, etc)

BEHIND THE SCENES= Deep inside.
We use this to express the different between what we do or say publicly, and how we actually feel inside, privately. So this guy was treating his girlfriend badly, but behind the scenes he knew that was wrong and he loved her so much.

SHE MEANS THE WORLD TO ME= She's the most important thing to me.

SCARED= Afraid.

I CARE= If you care for someone, you love them and you want the best for them, so everything that happens to them is important for you.

THAT WON'T WIN HER HEART= All that is not enough for her to love me.

PICK UP= (coll.) To get to know someone casually, usually in anticipation of sexual or romantic relations. To hit on someone.
