1- RATE VIDEOS- You can rate the videos and other posts by clicking on the stars. Every file has a maximum of 5 stars. If you like it very much, click on the 5th star to give it maximum score. Click on the fist star if you don’t like it much. Click any other star for other scores. In fact you are rating everything on that file, not just the video.

You don’t need to register to have free access to all the material posted on this website, but if you register you can contribute to the site in different ways, big and small.
2- FAVOURITE VIDEOS- You can keep track of all your favourite videos easily by favouriting them. Just click on the red heart and that video will be stored in your favourites list, so you can easily access all your favourite videos from your user page. You can even share your favourite list with other people just by sending them this address:
www.multimedia-english.com/fav/NICK
so if your nick is Mike your public list is:
www.multimedia-english.com/fav/Mike
If you are a teacher you can create a favourite list with a special selection for your students and give them that list for them to work with. You can edit the list every week or month or year from your user page. You can even register several times with several nicks and so have different favourite lists, a private one for you and another one for your students (or several ones for every different level you are teaching).

3- POST COMMENTS- You can write your own comments to the videos. Any kind of comment you want (opinions, corrections, more information, etc.). Don’t worry if your English is not perfect, just try to make yourself understood. Teachers can post comments for suggestions on how to work with that video in class, or they can also post regular comments like any other user. If you are a teacher you can encourage your students to write comments and so practise their English meaningfully.
The comments section is below the EXPLANATIONS section, at the bottom of the video page.

4- RATE COMMENTS- You can rate other people’s comments. If you like the comment, click the thumb-up icon. If you don’t like it click the thumb-down icon.

5- UPLOAD VIDEOS- You can submit your own videos. These videos will be published in the Open Section. To submit a video, log in and go to your user page:

When you open a video in the Open Section you can see the Nick of the person who submitted it. If you click on that name you can access the list of all the videos submitted by that person. You can also click the option USERS in the upper menu and go to all the users with videos. Click a user to see their videos.

You can also share your list of submitted videos in the same way as you can share your list of favourites. In this case the address of your list will be:
www.multimedia-english.com/user/NICK
so if your nick is Mike, your address will be:
www.multimedia-english.com/user/Mike
6- RECEIVE NEWSLETTERS- If you choose this option when registering, you can get information mail from our website when necessary. We will try to send mails only when it is important information, so don’t worry about getting a lot of mail from us.
7- DEDICATE SONGS- In the music section, you can dedicate a videoclip to someone by clicking on the DEDICATION tab (next to EXPLANATIONS). That dedication will expire in 30 days, so you have time to send a link to that person and show them your dedication.
8- REPORT MISTAKES- If you detect any kind of mistake on a page (broken link, video not working, wrong transcription, etc.) you can report it and we will check it. Just click on the REPORT link above the Explanations box.

So by registering and contributing you can make a difference in our website. Please, participate and make this site better.
NOTE: My thanks to Mike for letting me use his profile for the example pictures and for being an active contributor to this website.
