Really touching. Two Florida brothers have created a moving musical tribute to their mother who died in rollover accident in a Ford Explorer that they believe was caused by a design defect, and posted it on the Internet.

The emotionally heart-wrenching video is a remake of Vanessa Carlton's "A Thousand Miles," featuring brothers Ryan and Gregory Miller singing lyrics inspired by their longing for their mother, Nicole Miller. Together they rewrote the lyrics. They sing and play the piano, utterly beautifully.

I’M HOME BOUND= I’m going home (that’s my destiny). But this expression (better spelled "homebound") can also mean "I can't leave my house" (many think in this case it should be "house bound"). I'm not all too sure of the right meaning here then, but since "home bound" can be so ambiguous, it is safer to use the expressions "homeward bound" for going home and "house bound" for having to stay at home.

MOM (AmE) and MUM (BrE) are spelled differently but considering the different accents they sound more or less the same.

MAKING OUR WAY= Living our life; learning how to live.

I WONDER= I want to know, I’m curious about…

CUZ= (coll.) Because (also spelled COZ in BrE, and also ‘CAUSE and COS). Again, as with “mom” and “mum”, the difference in accents makes AmE CUZ and BrE COZ sound basically the same.

SOMEHOW= In some unspecified way.

WATCHING OVER ME= Taking care of me, making sure I’m safe and all right.

Ryan and Gregory Miller made the video as a tribute to her mother but also to share their belief that first generation Ford Explorers are dangerous and should be pulled from the road. (Marcey Evans, a Ford spokesperson said the company was "familiar with this tragic accident and our sympathy goes out to the family involved" adding, "we believe it would be inappropriate for us to comment further at this time as the family has brought a lawsuit against Ford, which is coming up for trial later this year.")

But the brothers send another message too. That their mother -- shown in home video clips looking vibrant and utterly entranced with her children -- would never see how talented her boys are growing up to be.
