Your account will contain a uniquely identifiable name (hereinafter “your user name” or “nick”), a personal password used for logging into your account (hereinafter “your password”) and a personal, valid e-mail address (hereinafter “your e-mail”) which will also be unique (two users cannot register with the same e-mail address). Furthermore, identifying you as a teacher or a student will entitle you to use certain servicies in different ways, such as the Virtual Classroom application (hereinafter "VC"). The rest of users will have access to your video lists -if any- of both uploaded videos and favourited ones, together with your nick, sex and country, and, should you post an activity or take part in a VC, your being a teacher or not. If you join a VC your real full name will be visible to everyone in the VC and only to them. The rest of the data that you fill in when registering will be solely used for statistical and operational purposes and shall not be made public or visible to other users unless you reveal it yourself. Furthermore, within your account, you have the option to opt-in or opt-out of automatically generated e-mails (hereinafter “newsletters”) from the site software. Newsletters will be used only when reasonably needed and in no way are they intended to be a form of spamming. Opting out of newsletters will not cancel our right to personally contact you via e-mail if we need to do so for some reason related to the website.
The software running this website has been designed by “Sistemas Globales Multimedia S.L.®” (hereinafter “SGM”), with CIF (Spanish tax identification number) B-49186190. SGM keeps a right of access to the users’ data stored in this website database with the sole purpose of making back-ups, correct malfunctions, make improvements or implement any future functionality. But SGM’s right of access to the users’ data will never include the disclosure or cession of data to a third party or any other use of them which is not strictly restricted to the maintenance, management, mending or improvement of this website.
